Film - Developer
The developer converts the exposed silver halide crystals (latent image) into metallic silver. During the process, the active developing agent is converted to oxidized developing agent. The oxidized developing agent then combines with the colour couplers, which are incorporated in the film emulsion, and forms a dye image in each of three light sensitive colour layers.
